SSO allows you to log in once and gain access to multiple applications. This will not only make your life easier by reducing password prompts and allowing you to jump between applications without having to login to each, but it will also make your accounts more secure.

What Can I Access with Single Sign-on (SSO)?

SSO grants you access to all of the apps you are currently using on campus. This includes (insert list of apps).

Is Single Sign-on Secure?

Beyond the ease of use of SSO, makes your accounts more secure by only allowing one access point. This means there is no other way to access your account to these applications outside of using your (insert school’s name) portal.

Why do I Need Single Sign-on?

SSO is now in place to make your life easier and more secure. You will no longer be required to login to each application individually and remember multiple user names and passwords. Now you will only need to remember one user name and password to access the apps you need to get your schoolwork done.\

What is Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)?

SSPR is a solution that can be used when you have forgotten your password or would like to change your password. This allows you to change your password on your own without having to call a helpdesk.

When do I need to change my password?

Password policies are set by the IT department and require that your password be changed every (insert days) days. However, if you feel that your password has been exposed, it is recommended you change your password via password reset.

What makes for a “good” password?

It is highly recommended that you should select a password that is both easy for you to remember, and difficult for others to guess. Depending on the password criteria set by your administrator, it should include lower-case and upper-case letters, numbers, and at least one special character.

How do I reset my password?

Click on the “Forgot Password” button, enter your user name, and click continue.   You will then recieve a OTP code ( One Time Passcode) to either your phone or email. Enter the OTP code and click continue. Enter your new password and confirm. Click continue, then choose “Try to continue logging in” to complete the reset process.

Yes, with self-service password reset you are able to reset your password as needed and when needed, no matter the time of day or night.
