By syncing SharePoint document libraries to your PC make much easier to work with SharePoint documents. this are the two major advantage. (1). No need to open SharePoint documents in internet browser to edit, upload and delete. (2) Save the documents directly to the SharePoint library without opening SharePoint in an Internet browser.
How to sync SharePoint libraries with PC
01. Open SharePoint site or document library in an Internet browser
02. At the top right of the page, Click on SYNC
03. The Sync Library Wizard starts and automatically adds the the web address document library
If you are using Internet Explore a security window will displayed Click ‘Allow’ then it will ask you to login.
If your using Google Chrome click the Launch Application
Note: Using default SharePoint Sync to your User profile library, you can change the location of the sync folder by clicking on Change.
04. Click on Sync Now.
After Sync is Complete.
After the syncing process is complete you should able to access the libraries and documents by using Windows Explore.
